Ten years ago i did
I packed up my life in Ukraine and moved to sunny Barcelona.
I was struggling to find a home, a stable job, i didn't speak a word of spanish and on top of that on a nice sunny day i was diagnosed with cancer, and suddenly all of the challenges of being an expat became even harder.
But I was lucky – some locals helped me find hospitals and doctors, my blog subscribers crowdfunded for my treatment, and between chemotherapy and radiation, I somehow managed to extend my visa.
But this horrible experience opened my eyes to the universal struggle of relocation that every foreigner faces every day. Housing, jobs, banking, healthcare, schools…
Trying to deal with all of that in a new country can be confusing, expensive, and time-consuming, not to mention most of the information on the internet is just wrong.
And even with all the bureaucratic nightmare we are facing a drastic increase of remote working and studying abroad. Relocation market is set to reach $30 billion by 2030.
2 years ago I created my relocation company in Spain.
And In just one year with my dream team, we have successfully helped over 1,000 families with 1,000,000 euro in revenue.
